French Copper Blue Maran (Large Fowl) Breed Information. The Copper Blue cockerel is running with Copper Blue hens; the offspring will be 50% Blue, 25% Black and 25% Splash but they will be of a pure breed and very high quality. They lay a very brown egg and I only hatch from the darkest brown eggs to keep the dark egg strain running.
